MYRTLE EARNESTINE MOODY

Funeral services for Myrtle Earnestine (Teenie) Moody, 86, of Monroe, will be 
held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 15, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. 
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Moody passed away Monday at home after a short illness. She was a native 
of Mt. Washington, KY, retired from the Louisiana School System as a bus 
driver, was the owner of Red Shed Antiques, and a member of New Light Baptist 
Church.

Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moody; and son, Gerald 
Moody.

Survivors include daughters, Anita Layne Lawson and husband Gary, and Donna 
May; son, Timothy Moody; daughter-in-law, Martha Moody, all of Monroe; six 
grandchildren, and twelve grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Amy Killian, Shawn Hughes, Keith May, 
Derek, Mark, and Chris Moody.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

The family requests all planned memorials be made to New Light Baptist Church, 
2477 Prairie Road, Monroe, LA 71202 or Arco-A Community Resource, 901 N. 4th 
Street, Monroe, LA 71210.
