Funeral services for Dennis Moody Jr., 52 of West Monroe will be held at 3:30 
PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe. Rev. Troy Patrick will officiate. Interment will follow at 
Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West Monroe, LA under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Moody was born May 6, 1956 in Monroe, LA and passed away March 21, 2009 in 
West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Moody was employed at Drew Elementary as Building Supervisor. During his 
years at Drew he touched many young lives. He also worked at Riverside Coney 
Island.

He was preceded in death by parents, Dennis Sr. and Maxine Moody.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Moody; children, Dawn Pennington and husband 
Toby and their children, Amiee Moody, Timothy Scott Holdiness, Gregory Scott 
Holdiness, Samantha and Matthew Pennington, Denise Smith and husband Scott and 
their children, Christopher, Geoffrey and Dayton Smith, Dana McVay and husband 
Eugene and their children Trey and Lachelle McVay, and Landon McVay, Delphia 
Moody, and future son-in-law Steve Williams, and their children, Corey and 
Brianna Williams; great uncle, Ernest Moody; special friends, Tom and Willine 
Hardy, fellow employees at Riverside Coney Island, and fellow Drew Elementary 
co-workers and numerous other friends.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Lee Duff, Mike Bowyer, Jimmy Frezno, Anthony Ard, 
George Booth, Paul Crain, Ronald Hattaway and Brent Pennington.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
