Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral services. Rev. Lindle Stewart, pastor of New Light Baptist Church, will be officiating the services and the eulogy will be delivered by Alvis Arnold. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Moody, Merill Moody, Mike Moody, Keith May, Mark Moody and Ricky Moody. Libby was born in Utica, Mississippi, and was the youngest of 12 children. Her family moved to Mounds, LA, when she was one year old and in 1939 moved to Monroe, LA, where she has since resided at the family home place on Prairie Road. Elizabeth was a graduate of BMI and America Institute of Banking and worked in the banking business for many years; and also as a legal assistant for Paul Fink. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church and was baptized at age 16 in the Ouachita River at Riverton. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Dan" and Elizabeth Rebecca (Hood) Moody; four sisters, Edna Leggett, Muriel Durnin, Edith Thigpen, Loyce Fike; and six brothers, Percy Moody, Bob Moody, Mack Moody, Donald Moody, Hubert Moody, and Roy Moody. She is survived by her youngest brother, Gerald Dewitt Moody and his wife Weba Jean; her sister-in-law, Charlotte Moody, eighteen nieces and nephews: Bobby Moody, Betty Wood, Betty Jo Atkinson, Wanda Gautreaux, Donna May, Layne Lawson, Timmy Moody, Merill Moody, Jerill Arnold, Sylvia Van Wagoner, Cheryl Phillips, Jan Breaux, Dave Moody, Jerry Moody, Mike Moody, Steve Moody, Ricky Moody, Becci Sessoms; and many great nieces and nephews.
