Services for Lena Helen Moore, 87, of Tyler, TX formerly of Richland Parish, 
LA, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, May 14, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Randy Bardwell officiating. 
Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lena Helen Moore was born September 1, 1921 in Zebedee, LA to Perry N. and 
Elsie Mae Wells. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Moore died May 8, 2009 
in Tyler,TX. She was preceded in death by husband, Lovell C. Moore, Sr.; 
daughters, Helen Gladys Barrett, Mary Alice Lowry, and Anna Margaret Gill; 
grandson, Joseph Lloyd Gill; sisters, Zula Spruell, Flora Hunter, and Zelma 
Warner; and brothers, Lindsey Wells, and Talmadge Wells.

Survivors include sons, Max Lowry of Calhoun, LA, and Lovell C. Moore, Jr. of 
Irving, TX; daughters, Gayle Johns of West Monroe, LA, Merilyn McGlothlin of 
Irving, TX, Tracy Moore of Grapevine, TX, and Myra Hargrove of Irving, TX; 
brother, Albert Wells of Calhoun, LA; sisters, Wilma Cassell of Taylorsville, 
MS, and Anna Laura Webb of Jacksonville, FL; 16 grandchildren; and numerous 
great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Gill, John Gill, Lee Lowry, Sean McGlothlin, 
Clifton Cassell, and Jason VanOrman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tinker Cassell, Mark Cassell, Charles Spruell, and 
Talmadge Wells, Jr.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral
