Funeral services for Eva Madelyn Jones Moore, 92, of Bernice will be 11:00 AM 
Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Bernice. Rev. 
Johnnie Adkins will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Bernice 
City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. 
Mrs. Moore was born on May 17, 1917 in Liberty, MS and died January 10, 2010 
in Farmerville, LA. Madelyn was a homemaker and a retired employee of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Bernice, LA. She is preceded in death by her 
husbands, Leonard S. Ford and George C. Moore. Mrs. Moore is survived by her 
daughters, Barbara Ford Reeves and husband, Philip of Jackson, MS; Sarah Ford 
Lee and husband, Kenneth of Hot Springs, AR; and Becky Ford Braley and 
husband, Monty of Shreveport, LA; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great 
grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Pallbearers will be her 
grandsons. The family would like to thank the staff at Timberlake Healthcare 
in Farmerville, LA for their care and thoughtfulness. Visitation will be from 
5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2010 at First United Methodist 
Church in Bernice under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, 
LA. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Bernice or the 
donor's choice.
