She passed away on October 14, 2009 at Grace Home in Shreveport, LA. Services will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Mary Preziosi. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park. She worked for 28 years as a surgery nurse at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital in Monroe, LA. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, a caring and compassionate person. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Pearl Bostic, her sister, Marie Bostic and brother, Raymond "Ted" Bostic. She is survived by her daughter: Donna Moreau Taylor and husband, Jack of Bossier City; grandchildren: Amanda Taylor of Bentonville, AR, Jonathan Taylor of Shreveport, and Matthew Taylor of Bossier City; one great granddaughter: Emily of Shreveport. She is also survived by a host of friends and neighbors. Doris was a Christian and praised God daily. She was an inspiration to all that knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff at Grace Home for their wonderful care of Doris and her family. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
