He is preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Ellen Frances Morris and a sister, Billie Jean Everett. Ivan was a passionate person. He was steward of the land who held great respect for farming and the soil. A multi-tasker, Ivan not only farmed for over fifty years he also logged over twenty-thousand ag hours in a crop duster. As an active leader in the agriculture community, Ivan set the standard by which others measured their success. He was first in the fields each morning and the last one to arrive home in the evening. He led by example and many farmers owe their success to the work ethic Ivan set. Most of all Ivan's greatest passion was the love he held for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He worked tirelessly to provide for them, for they were his greatest joy and blessing. Ivan is survived by his wife of fifty years, Daina Harp Morris; his mother, Myrtis Crook Morris; his son, Jeffrey Harp Morris, his wife Jennifer, and children Claiborne, Garrett, John-Ivan, Walker, and Larkin Morris; his daughter, Karen Morris Cooper, her husband Bob, and children Katy, Jake, and Briley Kelly.
