MARY LOU MORRIS

Funeral services for Mary Lou Morris, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
10:00 AM, Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe with Bro. Jimmy Masters officiating. Interment will follow 
at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Mary Lou was born May 11, 1930 in Iola, Il and passed away peacefully in her 
sleep on October 27, 2014. She was a very loving and devoted wife. Her 
children were her world. Mary Lou was always the peace keeper in her family 
of 9 children for she loved them all with her whole heart. The grandchildren 
and great-grandchildren were the icing on the cake in her life here. She 
constantly bragged on each and encouraged them in all their endeavors. She 
will be tremendously missed each day by all.

When she and her husband established Morris Trucking in the early 70's, she 
became the "Matriarch" of their business as she was in the family. She 
always welcomed all customers and friends daily with a fresh pot of coffee 
and food ready to feed them. This continued until her very last day on this 
earth with us. Many, too numerous to mention, will miss seeing her in the 
"office" every day, as she was "always" there to greet them.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; Esta and Alma Fitzgerald and 
her sister, Wanda Cunningham, She still grieved for her precious and first 
born daughter, Linda Gayle Morris Griggs.

Mary Lou leaves behind the love of her life of 54 years, J W (Dub) Morris 
who will miss her most of all, she was his everything; her children, Karl 
Lindsey and companion Connie Parker, Bobby Lindsey and wife Lisa Kay, James 
Morris and companion Pam Stevens, Cindy Keen and husband Ricky, Jerry 
Morris, Kevin Morris and companion Lisa Lindsey, Shari Almond and husband 
Billy and Kim Nesselrode and husband Roy Lee; grandchildren; Brandy Keen, 
Shannon Ward and husband Josh, Steven Lindsey and wife Kati, Jerrica Morris, 
Jessica Morris, Johnny Lindsey and wife Sarah, Patty Morris (Tommy), Harli 
Casey (Brett), Tyler Nored (Becky), Chelsea Nored, Mari Lee Hamilton, Maci 
Normand; 15 great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, sister and 
brother-in-laws and a huge host of loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Lindsey, Tyler Nored, Tommy Traweek, Brian 
Craighead, Scott Fordham and Chris Sasser.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Arrant, "Chief" Robert Sims, Randy Powell 
and Roger Balsamo.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.
