Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Rocky Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Woodson McGuffie officiating. Vickie was born on February 17, 1955 in Monroe, LA and passed away on June 24, 2015. She loved helping others and also loved singing, decorating, cooking and working in her yard with her flowers. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Huey Phillip Middleton Sr. and Ida Wayne Meeks Middleton. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Aaron Childs and husband, Chuck; two grandchildren, Kelby and Cole Childs; sisters, Penny Middleton Bragg and husband, Mark, Kathy Middleton Aaron and husband, Randy, Deborah Sue Middleton Plum and husband, Don and Phyllis Middleton Gates and husband, Ronald; brother, Phil Middleton Jr. and wife, Paula; special niece and nephew, Amanda Aaron Satterwhite and Ben Aaron; along with numerous other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Vickie was a wonderful, caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her joy was her daughter, and grandchildren, Kelby and Cole. Her love will live on through them, her family and her friends. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
