CARLA MORRIS

Carla Morris, aged 71, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Carla was 
born March 31, 1944, in Val di Funes, Italy, to the late Ottavio Pintarelli and 
Viola Camin Pintarelli.

Carla's passions included gardening and the outdoors. She found joy in 
cultivating her organic gardens and preserving her herbs and vegetables.

In 1969, Carla married her husband of 47 years, Elmo Morris, Jr., and they 
lived and shared the ministry together in Milan, Italy for several years. In 
1977, they moved to Sterlington, Louisiana where she went on to receive a 
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Northeast Louisiana University, and worked as 
a registered nurse at North Monroe Hospital from which she also retired.

Carla is survived by her husband, Elmo Morris, Jr.; her son, Nikolaj Morris and 
his partner Crystal Johnson; her daughter, Nadia Morris and her husband Kaleb 
Keene; her sister, Rafaella Perotto and her husband Nilo Perotto; her 
granchildren, Luca Morris and Sebastian Morris; and nephew Andrea Perotto.

No funeral services will be performed, she wished for her ashes to be released 
on the family property that she so dearly cultivated with love.
