Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA 

Funeral services for Mr. James E. Morse, age 80, of Tallulah, will be held at 
10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. John 
W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery 
in Crowville, LA under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home In 
Tallulah. Visitaion will be Monday, June 8, 2009 at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral 
Home in Tallulah, LA on Crothers Drive from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Mr. Morse 
died Sunday, June 7, 2009 in the Madison Parish Hospital after a lenghty 
illness. He was born in Crowville, LA and had lived in Tallulah for 62 years. 
He was a retired surveyor and a member of First Baptist Church. He retired 
from the State of Louisiana after 34 years and owned his own surveying company 
until 2004. Survivors include his wife Willie Mae Busby Morse of Tallulah; one 
daughter Amy D. Korkiakoski of Nampa, Idaho; one grandson Jason Roberts of 
Marsing, Idaho; two great-grandchildren Emma Roberts and James Edward Roberts 
both of Colorado Springs, CO and one sister Nell Gordy of Shreveport, LA. 
Pallbearers will be Frank Messenger, Tommy Bishop, Michael Lancaster, Paul 
Meeks, Theo Watson and Shorty Erwin. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons 
of First Baptist Church.
