Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Morton passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017, in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Church. She retired from customer service at the Pecanland Mall. She worked with ARCO, volunteered work at St. Vincent DePaul Community Pharmacy, was a Candy Striper at St. Francis Medical Center, and fed the homeless at Desiard St. Shelter. Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Edith Brown Robitschek; and her husband, Thomas S. Morton. Survivors include her children, Thomas S. Morton, Jr. and wife, Sherry, Jerry Morton and wife, Antonia, Michael Morton and wife, Cathy Jo and Patti Bates and husband, Kip; grandchildren, T.J. Morton, Ashley Morton, Cassidy Burns and husband, Caleb, and their child, Brady, Dakota Spears and Phillip Bates; and special cousin, Sean Gorman and wife, Lucy. Pallbearers will be members of the family. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, vigil at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA. The family wishes to extend special thanks to St. Joseph's Assisted Living, Sister Elizabeth and Aime Hospice. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
