EDWARD JOE MURPHY

Graveside Services for Mr. Edward Joe Murphy, 79, of Eros, LA will be held 
11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, LA 
with Rev. Johnny Holyfield officiating under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Murphy was born March 28, 1937 and passed away September 27, 2016. He 
loved hunting and fishing and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Murphy was 
preceded in death by his parents, Lum Columbus and Alza Murphy; his son, 
Dewayne Murphy; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Fuller Murphy; children, Samuel "Lil 
Joe" Murphy and wife Cookie, Angie Procell and husband Alfred, Teresa Howard 
and husband David, Lawanda Procell and husband William, and Nicky Murphy and 
wife Jennifer; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and 
numerous nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Murphy's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 
30, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. 

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice .
