ROY ALLEN MURRAY

Graveside services for Roy Allen Murray, Sr., 56, of Shreveport will be held at 
11:00 am Monday, June 2, 2014 at Liberty Cemetery in Spearsville with Rev. 
Dewayne Simmons officiating under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of 
Farmerville.

Mr. Murray was a veteran having served in the Air Force and worked for 34 years 
as a dispatcher for the Kansas City Southern Railroad.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Archibald and Ruby Murray; one son, 
James Michael Murray; one brother, Darryl Quinton Murray; and two sisters, 
Elaine Murray and Cheryl Renee Murray.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Roy Allen Murray, Jr. and wife, Alley, 
of Jacksonville, AR; Christopher Wayne Murray and wife, Zabrina, of Memphis, TN; 
and Jeremy Scott Murray and wife, Ashley Rai, of Oakland, TN; one brother, 
Thomas Lane Murray, of Monroe, LA; two sisters, Evelyn McMillan and Diane 
Murray, both of Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren, Cory Murray, Lucas Hamilton, 
Zachary Hamilton, Erin Hamilton, Jeremi Hollabaugh, James Murray, Dylan Murray, 
Cody Hollabaugh, Raianna Murray and Keely Murray; and numerous other family and 
friends.

Visitation will be at the cemetery from 10:00 am till service time.
