VERLON "TALLU" EZERNACK MYERS

Verlon "Tally" Ezernack Myers

Services for Verlon "Tally" Ezernack Myers age 90 of Transylvania, LA will be 
held Sunday July 29th at 2:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Delhi, LA 
with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Herringville 
Cemetery in Monticello, LA under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi, 
LA.

Visitation will be Saturday July 28th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cox 
Funeral Home, 724 Broadway St., Delhi, LA.

Verlon Ezernack Myers was born in Campti, LA on April 18, 1922 to the union of 
Leon and Pearl Idonna Martin Ezernack and passed from this life peacefully on 
Friday, July 27, 2012 at Charlyns Nursing Home in Winnsboro, LA.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Marvin, Ike and Elzie 
Ezernack, sisters Mag Lee, Odell Roberts, Lou Audrey Reese, husband Luther 
Manship Myers and son Gary Lee Myers.

She is survived by sons James Luther Myers and wife Mary West Monroe, LA. , 
Jimmy Mack Myers and wife Lavonda, Monticello, LA., daughters, Audrey Lene 
Myers Wolf and husband Tony, Hebert, LA. , and Lois Ann Myers Lovelady and 
husband Scott, Columbia, LA., 10 grandchildren, David Myers and wife Michelle, 
West Monroe, LA., Angela McGee and husband Randy, West Monroe, LA., Pam Myers, 
West Monroe, LA., Sherry Eppinette, West Monroe, LA., Jay Myers and wife 
Misty, West Monroe, LA., Cindy Windsor, and husband Paul, Kerrnersville, NC., 
Mackey Myers and wife Erin, Natchez, MS., Lori Taylor and husband Jeffery, 
Vicksburg, MS., Lyndsey Brooke Lovelady, Monroe, LA. and Drew Lovelady, 
Columbia, LA., 18 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, sister 
Blannon Joe "Tootie" Roberts, Monticello, LA., brother-in-law Cecil Roberts of 
Epps, LA., sister-in-law, Juanita Ezernack, Mendota, CA. , and a host of 
nieces and nephews, and friends.

"Tally" as she was known by to her family and friends grew up in Oak Grove, 
LA. She was married to the love of her life Luther Myers for 62 years. In 1950 
they made their home on their farm in Transylvania, LA and raised their five 
children. "Tally" loved her God, her family and her flowers. She always had 
something blooming in her flower beds. She is a member of Melbourne Baptist 
Church, Alsatia, LA. 

Pallbearers are: Grandsons and Great-grandsons: Mackey Myers, David Myers, Jay 
Myers, Jr., Brandon Myers, Brent Myers, Branson Myers and Blake Eppinette.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Pankaj Shroff , Dr, 
Weinholt and the staff of Charlyn's Nursing Home for the care provided to our 
mom.
