MORGAN BASTROP - Funeral services were held today at 2 P.M in the chapel of Farrar Funerl Home here for James P. Morgan, 84, of Bastrop. The Rev David Oliver officiated. Burial was in Midway Cemetery at Epps. Mr. Morgan died at 1:15pm Sunday in Richland Parish Hospital at Rayville after a lengthy illness. A retired farmer, Mr. Morgan was a member of the Baptist church and had resided in Bastrop for 50 years. Survivors include two sons, Johnny Morgan of Houston, Tex and James Morgan Jr., of Shreveport.
