Rev. David Craun and Rev. Ricky Bonnett will be officiating. Interment will follow at 3PM Monday, May 13, 2013 at Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Alexandria, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Ruby was born June 5, 1930 in Mansfield, LA to the late Oscar and Thelma Jones. She was married to Stuart Nations of West Monroe, LA. Ruby spent 30 years as the head cook at the Assemblies of God Campground in Woodworth, LA. Her duties there were running the kitchen, cooking, training and counseling. She loved her job and made lifelong impressions on the kids and adults that came through her kitchen. Ruby was totally and radically devoted to Christ her Savior. She served in a number of churches over the years in the children's department and the kitchen. Ruby is survived by her husband of 65 years, Stuart Powell Nations; three brothers, Raymond Jones, Charles Jones, and Marvin Jones; three children, Michael Nations, Peggy Nations and Cathy Kelley; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
