NED LANIER NELMS

Memorial Services for Ned Lanier "Lynn" Nelms II, of Monroe will be performed 
at Grace Baptist Church in Monroe, LA by Pastor Ricky Baker. Visitation begins 
Saturday at 1pm and service starts at 2pm. Lynn was born October 22, 1970 in 
Greenville, MS and passed on June 9, 2015 in Lake Providence, LA at the age of 
44.

Lynn never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need. He deeply loved his 
family, food, woodworking, food, collecting, and finally… food. He made many 
good choices and like everyone in this world he also made some bad ones… but he 
always had a plan.

Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Ned Lanier Nelms and his sister, 
Kelley Nelms. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Nelms; two sons, Nolan & Chase; 
his mother, Barbara Lee & stepfather John; sister, Jill Lee & husband Colby; 
two brothers, David & wife Flora, Carey & wife Dece. Lynn is also survived by 
countless other family and friends. Thanks also to the nurses at Conway ICU & 
Shady Lake Nursing Home.
