All are welcome to attend and "come and go". Fred, always one to think ahead, wrote his own obituary in the simplest terms, but those of us who loved him know that his life was too rich to leave it at that. Fred was an extraordinary man who changed the lives of those around him forever. His love for family and friends was so deep and genuine that we never had to question how much we meant to him. Fred was a proud graduate of West Monroe High School (Class of 1962), Louisiana Tech University (Class of 1966), and earned an MBA from Loyola University. Fred was thrilled to have graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Louisiana Tech, and his love for the school remained lifelong. One of his favorite pastimes was attending LA Tech baseball games, always arriving an hour early just to watch the warm-ups. He was also an avid marathon runner, always pushing his limits and living life to the fullest. Fred was both an electrical and mechanical engineer who worked with passion until the day he passed not out of necessity, but out of a genuine love for what he did. His enthusiasm extended beyond work to his children and grandchildren, whom he adored beyond measure. He found joy in watching his grandchildren, often attending Neville High games to cheer them on. For over a decade, he dedicated himself to mission trips in Mexico and Guatemala where he touched countless lives with his kindness and dedication to helping others. Fred’s warm smile, kind spirit, and boundless love for those around him will be dearly missed. He lived with joy and gave his heart generously, leaving a mark on all who knew him. For those mourning his loss, may your memories of Fred bring you comfort and strength. Rest assured, Fred is now smiling down on us all, his presence forever in our hearts. Fred's father died heroically on D-Day, in every passing day, Fred thought of the sacrifice made by his father, In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the World War II museum in New Orleans, LA.
