ELMA PEPPER NICKELSON

Elma (Ma Nick) Pepper Nickelson, 97, of Monroe, LA passed away on January 16, 
2014 at Anderson's Hospital in Meridian, MS.

She was born on January 28, 1916 to Z. Z. and Sarah Rosanne (Smith) Pepper in 
Sikes, LA.

Elma is survived by her son, John A. Nickelson Jr. of Monroe, LA; daughter, 
Sarah Woods of Meridian, MS; grandchildren, Lance Nickelson and wife Laura, 
and Vance Nickelson and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Thomas Nickelson, 
Kathryne Nickelson, Addie Nickelson, and Cade Nickelson, all of Monroe, LA; 
and special friends, Betty White and Delores Meredith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Nickelson Sr. and her 
parents, Z. Z. and Sarah Rosanne Pepper.

Graveside services will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, 623 Hwy 80 
East, Monroe, LA, on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2:00 pm, under the direction 
of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
