OLLIE "NUB" NOLAN, JR.

Farmerville, LA.

Funeral Services for Ollie "Nub" Nolan, Jr, age 85, of Shreveport, LA formerly 
of Rocky Branch, LA will be held on Monday, February 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, LA with Rev. Ryan Chapman 
officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery, under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mr. Nolan was born on June 7, 1923 in Farmerville, LA and passed away on 
February 14, 2009. He lived in Rocky Branch for 84 years before moving to 
Shreveport to be near his daughter. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII 
serving in the Phillipines. He liked to deer hunt and work with his hands. Mr. 
Nolan's favorite activity was being with his family and friends. He was active 
and alert till the day he passed away.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Zollie and his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Angie Netta Nolan; daughters, Rebecca 
Nolan; Ann "Dixie" Standley and husband Jimmy; sisters Betty Garris and Lucille 
Nolan; brother, Jim Bob Nolan, grandson, Scott Allen Tucker and wife Marie; 
granddaughters, Michelle Martin and husband Mickey, Ashley Standley; great-
granddaughters, Sabrina Martin, Cassie and Cara Tucker and three nieces.

Pallbearers will be, Jimmy Standley, Scott Tucker, Mickey Martin, Donald Acree, 
J.C. Honeycutt and L.J. Laster.

Visitation will be Monday, February 16, 2009 at 1:00 PM till time of service.
