NEWS STAR WORLD - APRIL 30, 2025
JAMES LUKE NOLAN

A celebration of life service for James Luke Nolan will be held at 7:00 p.m. 
Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Bayou Worship Center of First Methodist Church, 
Monroe with Rev. Dr. Brian Mercer and Daryl Lusk officiating. Visitation will be 
at 6:30 p.m. just prior to the service.

Luke passed from this life on April 22, 2025.

Born and raised in Monroe, he resided and worked in Destin, Florida for the past 
four years. Luke was loved by so many whether it be as a son, brother, nephew, 
cousin, or friend and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Luke was preceded in death by his father, Jack Jones Nolan, Jr. and his 
grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Candy Jones Nolan; brothers, Jack Jones Nolan, 
III, William Bradford Nolan (Alicia), Jesse Jones Nolan, and William Baker Nolan 
(Jennilee), as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and 
other cherished family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Luke's memory to First 
Methodist Monroe, 3900 Loop Road, 71201.
