WILLIAM BILLY ORTON NOLEN

William Billy Orton Nolen, 88, of Dover, Arkansas passed away at his home 
"Churchbell Ridge" on November 18, 2015. He was born January 21, 1927 in 
Fordyce, Arkansas to Eloise Orton and Oren B Nolen. Mr. Nolen was the CEO and 
owner of Mid South Supply Corp, an oil, gas and industrial supply business 
located throughout Louisiana. He was a member of the Western Star Lodge #24 in 
Monroe, Louisiana for 58 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II who 
proudly served his country in the Philippines.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Nolen; and brother, Sam 
Nolen.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Gay Poston Nolen; two sons, Mark Nolen 
of Reston, Virginia, and Timothy Nolen of Monroe, Louisiana; stepdaughter, 
Kimberly Jordan of Palmer, Alaska; daughter-in-law, Carla Nolen of Corvallis, 
Oregon; grandchildren, Cassie Jordan, Michael Nolen, Nathan Nolen, Sally Nolen; 
great grandson, Luka Wallace; and sister, Ruth Ann Putnam of Jacksonville, 
Florida

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 
Lane Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service. The Reverend Jos Tharakan, Rector 
and Brother Louis Welcher will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , All Saints Episcopal 
Church, Russellville, AR or your favorite charity .
