CEDRIC LARKIN NORRED

Cedric "Buddy" Larkin Norred of McKinney, Texas passed away December 2, 2014 at 
the age of 74. He was born January 15, 1940 to Larkin and Helen (Mims) Norred 
in Saline, Louisiana. Buddy married Wylma Roper on March 7, 1960 in Arkansas. 
He grew up in Louisiana in the Baptist Children's Home in Monroe. In 1963, 
Buddy graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor degree in 
Electrical Engineering. Buddy worked over thirty years for Texas Instruments 
and Raytheon until his retirement in 1998. He was an avid golfer and loved 
playing sports.

Buddy is survived by his spouse Wylma Norred of McKinney, Texas; daughters, 
Stacy Phillips of Sherman, Texas and Kelly Daniel and husband David of Garland, 
Texas; grandchildren, Lauren Jennings and husband Justin, Taylor Phillips and 
Christian Daniel; great-grandchildren, Aubrianna Jennings and McKinley 
Jennings; sisters, Elizabeth Crouch and husband Bill of Longview, Texas and 
Mary Fussell of Kilgore, Texas; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John Larkin Norred, and brother, 
Ronald Norred.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 
Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
