REBA ELOIS "SUSIE" NORRED
Edmonds Funeral Home

Jonesboro, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Elois "Susie" Norred, 80, of Jonesboro, LA will 
be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel 
in Jonesboro. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Strawbridge. Interment will follow 
at Antioch Cemetery in Quitman, LA under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home 
of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Norred was born July 3, 1929 in Jonesboro, LA to Sam and Lula Walsworth 
and she passed away on August 19, 2009 in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Norred was a member of the order of the Eastern Star, a retired secretary 
and an avid gardener. She was also a member of Hodge Methodist Church.

Mrs. Norred was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister and beloved 
husband, Clayton J. Norred, Sr., of Dodson, LA.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Marjorie Elaine Norred of 
Jonesboro, LA; Dora Ann Hatch and husband Jim of Athens, LA and Clayton J. 
Norred Jr., and wife Linda of West Monroe, LA. Also surviving her are four 
grandchildren: Sarah Bell and husband Donnie of Ruston, LA; Katie Smith and 
husband Doug of Vidalia, LA; Trey Norred of West Monroe, LA and Leigh Jackson 
and husband James of West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Norred is also survived by five 
great-grandchildren.
