NOLAN OAK RIDGE - Charles Herny Nolan 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Nolan, of Oak Ridge, who died early Monday of Coronary Thrombosis, was buried here yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Dr J.N. Jones said that death resulted only a matter of minutes following the attack. Nolan's parents said that he had not been ill prior to the attack. Charles was wildely known and regarded as an unuaually brilliant young man. He was a senior at Oak Ridge High School and was president of the student council. Active in the Oak Ridge Methodist Church, he was serving as vice-president of the Methodist Youth Federation and was treasurer of the Monroe district of the federation. Charles was an active member of the Oak Ridge High School basketball team and represented his school at a number of inter-high school affairs. He was Oak Ridge High School's represenative on the School Hi-Lights program. He is survived by his parents; one brother, Rev. W. Earl Nolan of Dallas, TX; maternal grandmother Mrs. Leo Nixon, of Monroe; paternal grandmother, Mrs. J.J. Nolan of Oak Ridge; and a number of aunts and uncles. Rev. James Poole, pastor of the Oak Ridge Methodist Church, conducted the services at the church. The body lay in state at the church until time of the services. Assisting Rev. Poole were Rev. James Harris, district superintendent of the Methodist Church, Rev. James S. Deal, pastor of the Start Baptist Church and Dr. G.L. Greene, pastor of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Duke Barr, Grady Day, Edwards Barham, Thommy Barham, Edward Reese, J.
