HEARD "JOSH" JR. ODOM


Funeral services for Heard "Josh" Odom, Jr., 82, of the Conway Community, will 
be 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2012 in the Chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in 
Farmerville. Officiating will be Rev. Kurt Auger. Masonic burial rites will 
follow in Conway Cemetery. Mr. Odom died Saturday, January 21, 2012 in 
Farmerville.

Mr. Odom was a member of Conway Baptist Church and also a member of 
Farmerville F &AM Lodge #53 for 59 years. He was retired from the KOCH plant 
in Sterlington where he had worked for 40 years and 4 months.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Weaver Odom, Brother, W.G. 
Odom and sister in law Ruby, Grandson, Ryan Oleveaux and Great Granddaughter, 
Carson Odom.

He is survived by his wife, Janice LaPrarie Odom of Conway, Daughter, Martha 
Joan McQuillin of Monroe, Sons, Billy Ray Odom of Conway and John Phillip Odom 
and wife Monica of Monroe. Step Children, Kay Thompson and husband Dan of 
Shreveport, Terry Laprarie of Monroe, Barry LaPrarie and wife Michelle of 
Shreveport, Larry LaPrarie and wife Karen of Shreveport, Gary LaPrarie and 
wife Sadie of Knoxville, TN. 19 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 
numerous Nieces, Nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be, John Odom, Shane Wooley, Stacy Odom, Richey Von 
Albritton, Barry LaPrarie, and Dan Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joe Brantley, Sherriff Bob Buckley, Mayor Stein 
Baughman, John Preus, Brian Tucker and Fred Stewart.

Visitation will from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the
