EDDIE K. ODOM

Memorial services for Mr. Eddie K. Odom, Sr. of West Monroe, will be 2:00pm 
Monday, May 11, 2015 at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe with 
Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00noon until time of 
service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Odom was born July 6, 1940 in Delhi, La and passed from this life on May 6, 
2015 in West Monroe at the age of 74. He served in the United States Marines, 
he enjoyed fishing & driving and he loved his wife and all of his family. He 
loved his dog and life-long companion, "Baby Girl".

He is preceded in death by his parents, Blanchard & Ruby Odom; his twin 
brother, Freddie Ray Odom, two brothers, Jesse Odom and Bobby Carroll Odom; and 
two grandsons, Dylan and Wesley Todd.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Helen Louise Odom; his children, Penny, 
Eddie, Theresa, Jessica and Tommie; twelve grandchildren and a host of great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the St. 
Jude Children's Research Hospital .
