HAROLD E. OETGEN

Funeral services will be held for Harold E. Oetgen, 94, of West Monroe, at 2:00 
p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2016, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe. Rev. Woods Watson will officiate. Interment to follow at Hasley 
Cemetery.

Harold retired from LP&L as a lineman and underground specialist after over 40 
years of service. He was a member and usher at First Baptist Church, West Monroe 
for many years.

Mr. Oetgen was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Thelma Oetgen; 2 
brothers, Lloyd and Lester Oetgen; and, sister, Helen Van Schout.

He is survived by 2 children, Harold Dale Oetgen and wife, Jeannie and Gail 
Haynes and husband, James; 5 grandchildren, James "Gray" Haynes and wife, Wen, 
Wendy Gosdin and husband, Randy, Johnny Dale Haynes, Eddie Oetgen and wife, 
Tracy, and Bubba Oetgen; 9 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of service, 2:00 p.m., at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
