Ogden Sr. 79 of Delhi, LA will be held at Bethany Worship Center 5000 Hwy 17 Winnsboro, LA 71295 on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Ron Charrier officiating. Visitation will be held at Bethany Worship Center on Tuesday, November 29th from 5-8 PM. Interment will follow in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery with Military Honors. Jimmie was a native and lifelong resident of the Northeast LA area. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic and former owner operator of Ogden Tire & Service in Delhi. He was a Marine Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Ray Ogden and Wilma Mae Daakson Ogden; twin sons Ernest Floyd & Allen Dwayn Ogden and a sister Ann Guimbellot. Jimmie is survived by a son Jimmie R. Ogden Jr. and wife Christine of Bossier City, LA and their children Alexa Rae Ogden, Kaylie Casto and Allie Dowdall; by three brothers Allen Ogden and Billy "Moose" Ogden both of Delhi and Steve Ogden of Natchez, MS; two sisters Barbara Ogden Butler of Natchez, MS and Mary "Cookie" Ogden Humphries of Monroe, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a longtime companion Mary Sawyer and her children and grandchildren Ashley Gray and Adrianne & Bailee Hancock. Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Ogden, Jake Ogden, Luke Ogden, Paul Ogden, Scottie McEwan and Tommy Ray Berryhill. Honorary Pallbearer will be Eugene Ferrell.
