Officiating will be Rev. Jimmie Pyles, Rev. Lala Cooper and Ryan Garrett. Interment will follow in the Chatham Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Chatham United Methodist Church. Mrs. Oldham was born on January 11, 1928 and passed away on March 22, 2009. She was 81. She is survived by her loving husband, Harold W. Oldham of Chatham, LA., one brother, Edward B. Anders and wife Jolene of Natchitoches, LA., one sister, Frances Algene Hearne of Chatham, LA., one son, Douglas Garrett and wife Karen of Pineville, LA., one daughter, Deborah Loggin of West Monroe, LA., two step- daughters, Tanya Colvin and husband Matt of West Palm Beach, FL., and Cristy Oldham of Benton, LA., four grandchildren, April Loggin, Jason, Ryan and Megan Garrett, five great-grandchildren, James Loggin, Cassie Boles, Lindsey Alford, Caroline Garrett and Ruby Kate Colvin. Mrs. Oldham was also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Marshall and Velma Anders of Chatham, LA. Mrs. Oldham was an active member of Chatham United Methodist Church in Chatham, LA., and Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville, LA., she was a member and officer of the American Business Womens' Association and also a member and officer of IAPES, she previously worked for the Peoples Bank in Chatham, LA., and was retired from the Louisiana Department of Employment Security in Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be, Ryan Garrett, James T. Stewart, Bobby Rucker, Pat Miller, Dwight Cooper and Bill Leatherman.
