Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Oliver died at Ridgecrest Community Care Center on December 27, 2015. She was born in Dean, Louisiana on February 17, 1918, and resided in the Monroe area for her entire life. She graduated from the St. Francis Sanitarium School of Nursing, and worked at both St. Francis and Glenwood Hospitals until she retired at age 70. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church for over 70 years. She was a certified genealogist, and that was her true passion. She was member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution; D.A.R. Chief Tusquahoma Chapter; International Genealogical Society; Ark-La-Tex Genealogical Society; Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society; Genealogical Research Society of New Orleans; Alabama Genealogical Society; Georgia Genealogical Society; and the Mississippi Genealogical Society. She is survived by her son, Marvin Maurice Oliver and daughter-in-law, Frances Cristine Oliver of Yorba Linda, California; her sister, Nelda R. Smothers; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Oliver; son, Randy G. Oliver; parents, John Perry Reppond and Katie McKinnie Reppond; brothers, Bobby C. Reppond, Willis N. Reppond, Gulley A. Reppond, and John D. Reppond; sisters, Betty Faye Drennan, and Christine Kelley. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:40 AM Saturday, January 2, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church Altar Society.
