O'NEAL Peggy B. O'Neal, 71, of Delhi died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Delhi Hospital following a short illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. O'Neal Sr.; her parents James John Benton and Marjorie Wright Benton and two brothers Byron Bailey and Billy Benton. Peggy was a long time resident of Delhi, a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi, former Co-owner and operator of The Delhi Dispatch and Ken's Printing in Delhi. She and her husband were two of the founding members of the Delhi Volunteer Ambulance Service and she as a Constable for Ward I in Richland Parish. She is survived by two sons Kenneth L. O'Neal Jr. and his wife Dr. Teri O'Neal of West Monroe and Koby Ray O'Neal and his wife Stacy of Monroe; one daughter Karen O. Blake and her husband Ronny of Topeka, IN; four grandchildren Kory O'Neal, Lauren Elise O'Neal, Kristen York and Caleb Oliver; two brothers James W. Benton of New Bern, NC and James Dean Benton of Virginia and one sister Penny Malloy of Tampa, FL. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery south of Delhi with Rev. Mickey Bounds and Mildred Carter officiating. Pallbearers will be Kory O'Neal, Caleb Oliver, Ken Hall, Mike Cencer, Jason Blake, Doug Pettey, Mike Johnson and Matt York.
