Funeral services for Amy Elizabeth Opiel, 36 will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 
27, 2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, LA with William Edwards 
officiating the service. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Amy was born in Monroe, LA on September 12, 1972 and passed away in Shreveport, 
LA on May 23, 2009.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorene and Peter Opiel and 
cousin, Colby Buchanan.

She is survived by her daughter, Courtney Hutto, sons, Casey Williams and Corey 
Haring; mother, Joyce Smith of Choudrant, LA; father, David Opiel of Choudrant, 
LA; brothers, Stanley Opiel II and Beau Opiel; her favorite uncle, Danny Opiel; 
aunt, Dianne Olivo; and cousin, Shawna Buchanan.

Pallbearers will be Beau Opiel, Stanley Opiel, William Sullivan, Samuel 
Frazier, Steven Norred, and Danny Clay Opiel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
