WILLIAM WAYNE OWENS

Visitation for Mr. William Wayne Owens, Sr., 73, of Goldonna, LA will be held 
from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2014 in the chapel of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Owens was born on June 25, 1940 in Hebert, LA and passed away on January 8, 
2014 in Ruston, LA. He loved LSU and New Orleans Saints Football and was also an 
avid golfer. Mr. Owens enjoyed spending time with his family and his two dogs. 
He worked in the car business for over fifty years. Mr. Owens is preceded in 
death by his parents, David Wardlo and Ruby Henson Owens; and by his two 
brothers, Jody and Bud Owens.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Searcy; Sherri Lynn Owens Wynne; William 
Wayne "Bill" Owens, Jr. and Joy Owens Rowell; ten grandchildren; two great 
grandchildren; brother, Tom Owens and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
