Farmerville, LA.

Inez Dumas Owens, a lifelong resident of Union Parish went to meet her Lord on 
June 1, 2009 surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held at 
2:00pm Thursday at Enterprise Cemetery with Mark Gilbreath officiating. 
Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

She was born Jan. 26, 1919 in Union Parish to Sidney and Ethel Cook Dumas.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 67 yrs. Steve Owens, 1 daughter, a 
son, 2 grandsons & 2 sons-in-law.

She is survived by Bobbie Bernard of Downsville, LA; Billie Gilbreath & 
husband, Don of Mineola, TX; Patty Byrnside & husband, Fred of Strong, AR; 
Kathy Maddoux & husband, Marlin of Green Cove Springs, FL; Connie Love & 
husband, Bill of Marion, LA; 16 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 5 great-
great grandchildren and a sister, Mamie Harrington.

Pallbearers are Billy Don Gilbreath, G. W. Love, Craig Armstrong, Lance 
Littlefield, Christopher Byrnside, and Michael Gilbreath.

Honorary pallbearers are the remaining grandsons, and great grandsons.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00pm Wednesday at Farrar Funeral Home.
