Interment will follow in the Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery. Mary Ann was born on August 19, 1945 in Monroe, LA and passed away on January 2, 2015 in West Monroe, LA with her loving family by her side. She loved working on her farm, in her garden, and making beautiful flower arrangements. Mary Ann was a member of Watson Baptist Church where she found her Lord and accepted him as her personal Savior. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Velma Wilhite. Survivors include her children, Guy R. Owens, III and wife Cindy, Jennifer Fitzgerald and husband Jason, Jamie Owens Brown and husband John; the father of her children, Rusty Owens; grandchildren, Misty and Justin Owens, Kaylyn Fitzgerald, Owen and Ellie Mae Brown; brothers, Jimmy Wilhite and wife Laura, and Delmar Wilhite and wife Francis; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Kelly Mathus, Mark Robert, Harvey Robert, Wayne Moore, Justin Owens, Brian Owens, Trey Tyler, and Alan Blakeney. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Watson Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. The family would like to say thank you to Mary Alice Kinman and the staff at Monroe Drugs, Shelly Nugent and Andrea at St. Joseph's Hospice, Dustin Gross and the staff at Dr. Raymond Hubbard's office, and Patricia McGovern and the members of Watson Baptist Church for the love and care shown during Mary Ann's illness.
