THOMAS D. OWENS

Graveside Services for Mr. Thomas D. Owens, 80, of West Monroe, LA, will be 
2:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in West Monroe 
with Rev. James Gardner officiating.

Mr. Owens was born November 25, 1934, in Hebert, LA, and passed away on 
September 11, 2015, in West Monroe, LA. He was a retired electrician. Mr. Owens 
served his country in the United States Army. He loved his family, gardening, 
and fishing. Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his wife of almost 55 years, 
Evelyn C. Owens; and brothers, Bud Owens, Wayne Owens, and Jody Owens.

Survivors include his two sons, Dale Owens and wife Jennifer, Darrell Owens and 
wife Trish; three grandchildren, Josh Owens, Ali Owens, Amelia Simon and her 
husband Christian; one great-granddaughter, Haley Owens; as well as numerous 
nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Virginia Gonzales, 
and the staffs of Glenwood Home Health, Ridgecrest Community Care Center, West 
Monroe Guest House and Hospice Compassus.
