Shawn Hornsby officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery in Crowville under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at the church. She was born to William Granville and Frances Louise Rider McCoy on June 10, 1943 in Winnsboro and passed from this life Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was a member of Winnsboro First United Methodist Church and retired from Franklin State Bank in Winnsboro having worked as a teller, bookkeeper and CD clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles C. Pailette and granddaughter Hallie Beth Gravelle. Carolyn was beloved by Charles, her girls, her grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and everyone who knew her. In addition to her family, she cherished her many friends, including her former co-workers at Franklin State Bank, with whom she remained close long after she retired. She traveled extensively and was always planning her next trip. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a soft place to land. She exemplified kindness, tolerance, patience and empathy. She believed in second chances. She understood what it meant to love the way Christ loves. She is survived by her children and their families: Debbie Cascio and husband Charles of Monroe, granddaughter Heather Bennett Murphy and great- grand daughter Kate Bennett Murphy, Karen Walden and husband Scott of Daphne, AL and grandchildren Sully Turner, Sage Turner, Kate Walden and Will Walden, Amy Montgomery and husband Tom of Northport, AL and Beth Ann Gravelle and husband Joe of Winnsboro and grandchildren Harrison Gravelle and the late Hallie Beth Gravelle; special niece Elle Frances McCoy. She is also survived by seven siblings: Sharon May of Gilbert, AZ, Dixie Cureington of Winnsboro, Bettye Biddy of Winnsboro Buddy McCoy of Rayville, Carey McCoy of Gilbert, Kim Mathews of Winnsboro and Michael McCoy of Vicksburg; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Ryan Cureington, Harrison Gravelle, Curtis Hilbun, Jake McCoy, Michael McCoy, Trent McCoy, Brian Reynolds and Sully Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Givens and Mo Tarver.
