Mrs. Annie G. Pankey, 71, died in a local hospital Saturday morning at 5:10 a.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe. Reverend Filer J. Seals will officiate, assisted by the Rev. T. A. Brown. Interment under direction of Hall Funeral Home will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. The body will remain at Hall Funeral Home until time for removal to the church. Mrs. Pankey is survived by her husband, I. L. Pankey; three daughters, Mrs. E. L. May, West Monroe; and Mrs. Curtis Shell and Mrs. Cecil Stone, both also of West Monroe; four sons, G. .H. Pankey, Haskel Pankey, Hollie Pankey and Lenard Pankey, all of West Monroe; a brother, Harmon Cox, Monroe; and 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
