LEOLA BAGWELL PARDUE

Leola Bagwell Pardue Funeral services for Leola Bagwell Pardue, age 92, of 
Downsville, LA., will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 
Holmesville Baptist Church in Downsville with Bro. Jerry T. Whitman 
officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be 
held Monday, July 2, 2012, from 6:00 PM until Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 8:00 
AM at her residence, 346 Pardue Road, in Downsville, LA., and Tuesday from 
9:00 AM until time of service at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Pardue was born on August 14, 1919, and 
passed away on June 30, 2012, after a brief illness. She was a member of 
Holmesville Baptist Church and was Head of the Church Fellowship Committee for 
many years. She was still serving in love as a prayer warrior, homemaker, and 
cook for the community. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel 
Edward Pardue Sr., and her grandchildren, Porcia Pardue and Andrew King. She 
is survived by her son Hershel Edward "Butch" Pardue and wife Elaine of 
Downsville, LA; daughter, Lou Pardue King and husband Billy of Downsville, LA; 
grandchildren: Shannon Pardue and wife Rachette of Ruston, LA; Troy Pardue and 
wife Linda of Downsville, LA; Angie King Borden and husband Clay of Ruston, 
LA; Amanda King McDaniel and husband Josh of Downsville, LA; great- 
grandchildren Justin and Rachel Pardue, Chase, Noah and Grace Borden; sister, 
Marvell Busby of Bernice, LA; adopted by love: Bro. Jerry T. Whitman, Randy 
Harvey, Ralph Provost, Kenny Bowen, Valerie Kennedy, nurse Kerri Price; and a 
host of nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. Pallbearers will be Josh 
McDaniel, Troy Pardue, Shannon Pardue, Chase Borden, Noah Borden, Justin 
Pardue, Ralph Provost, and Randy Harvey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny 
Bowen, Bob Tom Riser, Bo Cox, Charles Welch, Vernard Snearly, and Clay Borden.
