Funeral Services for Mamie Victoria "Big Mama" Pardue, 97, of Downsville, LA, 
will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Church of 
Downsville, LA with Rev. Laymond Tucker and Rev. Ralph West officiating. 
Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mrs. Pardue was born on October 30, 1911 in Downsville, LA, and passed away on 
June 14, 2009 in Downsville. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard 
Garland Pardue, her parents George Pierce Foster, Sr. and Epsi Victoria 
Foster, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her two daughters Velva Jean Pardue Bryan and husband Reggie 
and Helen Joye Pardue Tucker and husband Bill all of Downsville. 10 
grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren with 18 great-great grandchildren and 
a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and her loving dog Shep.

Pallbearers will be Jason Bryan, Erick Bryan, Davie Bryan, Will Bryan, Aaron 
Bryan, Chad Kinnaird, Matthew Kinnaird, Brad McGehee, Lance Antley, and Alan 
Antley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Bryan, David Bryan, Phillip Bryan, Andy 
Bryan, Wayne Brown, Rick Hatton, Jesse Brown, Jody Brown, and Andy Greeson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethel Church of Downsville for 
Mission Funds.
