MRS. MARGIE HANES PARKER

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Hanes Parker, age 83, will be held 11:00 AM, 
Monday, July 14, 2008, at the First Assembly of God, in West Monroe on Cypress 
Street. Officiating will be Rev. Michael Parker, Rev. Darren Smith, Rev. Butch 
Pilcher. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Church Cemetery under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe.

Mrs. Parker was born on June 6, 1925, in West Monroe, La., and passed away on 
July 11, 2008, in West Monroe, La. She was a member of The Assembly of God 
Church. Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by: husband, John M. Parker; son, 
Billy Parker; grandson, Keith Parker.

Mrs. Parker is survived by; daughter, Ruth E. "Liz" Parker; son, Michael 
Parker and wife Linda; brother, Oliver Lenard; sister, Thresa Mardis; 
grandchildren, Laurie Parker Smith and husband Darren, Chad Parker and wife 
Casi, Courtney Sandhu and husband Paul, Jeremy Parker. Also survived by five 
great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Lenard, Andrew Smith, Nathan Smith, George 
McClendon, Larry Cash, Jerry Hibbard.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Macky Parker.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2008, after 5:00 Pm until 8:00 PM 
at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, La., and Monday, July 14, 2008, 
after 10:00 AM until service time at First Assembly of God Church.
