THOMAS "PETE"PARKER

Funeral services for Thomas " Pete " Parker, 85, of Grayson, LA will be held 
at 2:00pm Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church in Grayson, LA. 
Visitation will be Tuesday May 1, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm at the church. 
Interment will be at Crossroads Cemetery at Grayson, LA.

 Reverend Ken Evans and Reverend Tommy Nelson will officiate under the 
direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Pete was born on August 10, 1926 
in Grayson La and passed away April 30, 2012 at Citizens Medical Center after 
a lengthy illness. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic. Pete was 
preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Parker and his parents Rev. Tom and 
Arcallia Parker, his great grandson Joshua Shaun Black, and his grandson Toby 
Oden Brockner

 Pete is survived by his wife, Brenda Hightower Parker of Grayson; his son 
Lawrence Parker and wife Linda, daughters Linda Brown and husband Ronnie; Kay 
Murphy and husband Roger, and Martha Ray; step-sons; Paul Johnston and wife 
Dawn; and Bryan Johnston and wife Tammy, numerous grandchildren and great 
grandchildren, his sisters Mattie Weeks, Louise Nelson, Vi McManus, and his 
brother Jerry Parker. 

Pallbearers include Clay Shipp, Greg Parker, Michael Ray, Dean Howard, John 
Weeks, and Tony Weeks.

 Honorary pallbearers include Johnny Hester, Charles Brown, Ricky Ratcliff, 
and Patsy Dubose.
