Jerry Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Mrs. Parker was born December 8, 1939 in Chase to the union of Grover and Maurice Price Crooks and passed from this life on March 20, 2014 at her residence. She was a longtime member of Bayou Macon Baptist Church, a teacher's aide for Ward III and Wisner Early Elementary. She was owner and operator of Neighborhood Beauty Shop in West Monroe. Preceding Mrs. Parker in death were her parents; husband Henry Gerald "Tootsie" Parker and sister Rosana Crooks. Survivors include two sons: Terry Parker and wife Heather; Andrew Parker all of Winnsboro; granddaughter Lacie Ann Parker; she is also survived by her church family and a host of other relatives and friends.
