BEATRICE MCDERMOTT PARKER
Kilpatrick Funeral Home

Farmerville, LA

Funeral services for Beatrice Parker, 95, of Marion, LA, will be held on 
Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel. 
Officiating will be Bro. Dale Jordan, assisted by Ken Mackey. Burial will 
follow at Roark Allen Cemetery near Marion, LA, under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mrs. Parker was born on October 1, 1913 in Marion, LA and passed away on 
September 9, 2009 at Lagniappe Nursing Home in Bastrop after a lengthy 
illness. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ in Marion, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Parker, a brother Audry 
McDermott and one sister Zoella M. Cassanova.

Survivors include her son Mack Powell and wife Floy of Monroe, LA; grand 
children, Cheryl McCrary and husband Charlie of Monroe, LA; Cyndi Risinger and 
husband Brad of Bastrop, LA; great-grand children Meghan Risinger, Madison 
Risinger, Olivia McCrary and Aiden McCrary; sister Vivian Foster; one nephew 
Billy Foster and wife Nelda all of Shreveport, LA; several other nieces, 
nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM 
at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Special thanks to Premier Hospice of Bastrop, especially Fritzi Buffington, 
Mary Doles and Cindy Burlew for their love and care.

Pallbearers will be Brad Risinger, Charlie McCrary, Spence Allen, Ricky 
Taylor, Larry Bennett Taylor, and Jerry Turner.
