Sh She was born August 3, 1922, in Delhi, Louisiana and lived most of her adult li life in St. Joseph, Louisiana. Services are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. at the Fi First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph, Monday, February 13, 2017. Mrs. Parks is survived by daughters Lynn Stiles and her husband David of St. Joseph, Louisiana and Janie Pillow of Brandon, Mississippi. Surviving grandchildren (and great-grandchildren) are Dr. Dudley B. Pillow III (Chip) and wi wife Betsy (Caroline and Carter) of Memphis, Tennessee; Dr. William P. Pillow an and wife Carolyn (Will, Austin and Rob) of Tupelo, Mississippi; Mary Lynn St Stiles Watson and husband Scott (Parks and Claire) of Tallulah, Louisiana; John Mi Michael Pillow and wife Sarah Beth (Anne Elise, Lilly and Owen) of Yazoo City, Mi Mississippi; Lisa Pillow Jenkins (Parks, Luke, Catherine and Anna Merritt) of Bi Birmingham, Alabama; Laura Pillow of Memphis, Tennessee; and David W. Pillow an and wife Shelly (Seth and Jon) of Opelika, Alabama. She is also survived by her lo loving sister, Elizabeth (Dena) Todd of Tallulah, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents Bethel and Adine Bradley, husband William Edwa William Edward Parks, grandson David E. Stiles, Jr., brothers Bethel L. Bradley and Jesse "D and Jesse "Dick" Bradley, and son in law Dudley Baker Pillow. Mrs. Parks loved her family and travel and golfing with friends. Lake Bruin became her became her home and passion as she golfed, boated, barbequed and taught many generation generations to water ski. Her golfing friends honored her by naming the annual Lake Bruin Lake Bruin Golf and Country Club Ladies Tournament for her. Family, friends and fun all we fun all were part of her life and living. A lengthy illness interrupted many of these acti these activities but she persevered with loving care from her family and very special ca special caregivers Mary Ezell, Carrie Alexander, Louise Taylor, Julia McDowell, along with along with caring staff of the Olive Branch and Sara Whitman, NP. Pall bearers are Dr. Dudley B. Pillow III (Chip), Dr. William P. Pillow, John Michael Michael Pillow, David W. Pillow, Scott Watson and Parks Watson. The family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of St. Jo St. Joseph or special interest of your choice.
