Nick Andrews and Bro. Brian Rankin officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Ruby was born June 4, 1918 to Lemmie and Virginia Cole Adams in Felesenthal, Arkansas and she passed from this life on December 3, 2014 at St. Francis Medical center in Monroe. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and she was a member of TOPS for 45 years. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Patterson; son: Robert Patterson; daughter: Virginia Patterson; her parents; grandson: Robert Maurice Patterson; sisters: Lovie Westelius, Dovie Aydelott, Bessie Fisher, and Mable Gedsted; brothers: John Adams, Louis Adams, Charles Adams, and Clarence Adams. She is survived by two sons: Maurice Patterson and his wife Glenda of Monroe; David Patterson and his wife Terry of Columbia; daughter: Patty Wilhite and her husband Lonnie of Columbia; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; a host of friends, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rusty Patterson, Gary Patterson, Dave Crawford, Jacob Crawford, Mark Escalon, Randy Barnette, and Robert Louis Lilly. Honorary Pallbearers will be Red Munholland and Charles Stevens. Precious mother: Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure.
