Frank Folino, OFM, presiding. Burial will follow at St. Lucy Cemetery in Hodge, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. The family will receive friends at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston on Monday, July 2 from 4:30 until 8:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Peel was born March 31, 1932, in Hubbard, Ohio, to Harry and Edith Hagarman. She is survived by her children Christie Weeks and husband Bill of Jonesboro; C. H. "Chuck" Allen and wife Kathy of Chatham; Donald J. "D.J."Allen and wife Sandy of Ruston; and Richard S. Allen and wife Laura of Auburn, Alabama. "Honeybunch's" sixteen grandchildren were a special joy: Stephen Weeks and wife Suzanne, Paul Weeks and wife Jessica, Carrell Weeks McAllister and husband Brad, Andrew Weeks and wife Katie, Katie Weeks, Grayson Allen and wife Ashley, Natalee Allen Menge and husband Dax, Thurston Allen, Winston Allen and wife Maddie, Madalyn Allen, Kyle Allen and wife Jennifer, K. C. Allen and wife Claire, Kramer Allen, Justin Allen, Anslee Allen and Christian Allen. Great- grandchildren are Noah, Lilly, Colton, Harrison and Olivia Weeks, Charlotte Menge, and Carter, Bailee and Kameryn Allen. Additionally, her sister Norma Jean Hagarman of Greenacres, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews survive her. In addition to her parents, Ms. Peel was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Gifford; brother, Richard Hagarman; granddaughter Kayla Allen; and spouses Charles Harold Allen and Shelby R. Peel. In remembrance of her devotion and service to her church as a member of the pastoral council, lector, former Sunday school teacher, and member of numerous committees over the years, and at her request, the family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Building Fund, St. Lucy Cemetery Fund, or St. Lucy Catholic Church, Hodge, Louisiana.
