ROBER BETHARD PEPPER, SR. 

Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. 

Funeral Services for Mr. Rober Bethard Pepper, Sr., 76, of West Monroe will be 
2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home 
West Monroe with Rev. Leonard Garlington and Rev. Chuck Donley officiating. 
Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West 
Monroe. Mr. Pepper was born February 7, 1933 in Jonesboro, LA and passed away 
on January 11, 2010 in Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Army during 
Korean Conflict. Mr. Pepper was a member of Caney Baptist Church. He retired 
after 40 years from Riverwood Paper Company. He is preceded in death by his 
parents, Walter and Irene Pepper and a sister, Carolyn Franklin. He is 
survived by his wife of 53 years, Zena S. Pepper; son, Rober B. Pepper, Jr. 
and wife Natalie; grandson, Dylan Pepper; sister, Kathryn Childress and 
husband M.B.; nieces, Dawn Britton and husband Gordon and Shawn Watkins and 
husband Kelly; great niece, Kaylee Watkins and many, many, many friends. 
Pallbearers will be Roy Glen McGrew, Ed Leonard, Larry Martin, Bubba Martin, 
Charles Barfoot, Harry Barfoot, Roy Miller, and James Ferguson. Honorary 
Pallbearers will be coworkers and retiree's of Riverwood that met once a month 
on Wednesdays. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 
12, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the 
American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and American Diabetes 
Association.
